Raye is the reincarnated version of one of the Moon children who helped protect Princess Serenity. She lives with her grandfather in a shrine and works there. She has two pet ravens named Phobos and Demien.

Raye can transform into Super Sailor Mars, as well as Sailor Mars.
Raye began life as the Princess of Mars in Queen Serenity's court. When the Negaverse attacked, she was killed protecting Princess Serenity. Then she was reborn as Raye Hino. Her mother is dead and she is not very close to her father. She is very close to her grandfather! She fights along side Sailor Moon as Sailor Mars. In Crystal Tokyo she looks after Small Lady and keeps the peace along with the other scouts.
